Gallbaldder - histology slide

This is a histology slide of the gallbladder. This organ is lined by a single layer of tall columnar cells and is thrown into folds when the bladder is empty. There is no submucosa. A thin band of smooth muscle and a serosa of loose fibrous tissue are present.
