Blood - histology slide

The smear of peripheral blood shows nonnucleated erythrocytes averaging 7 microns in diameter as biconcave discs with central pallor. The slide has 3 segmented polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNL), a lymphocyte, and several tiny eosinophilic platelets.
