Primary retinal Müller glia culture, mouse

largeDkk3 is expressed in a mouse primary retinal Müller glia culture. The Dickkopf (Dkk) proteins are secreted glycoproteins that act as regulators in the Wnt signaling pathway. In this merged image, Dkk3 (green) is expressed in the perinuclear region and along processes in a punctate pattern. Glutamine synthetase (red) acts as a marker for the Müller glia and the nuclei are counterstained with DAPI (blue).
