Wrights stain - histology slide
|
This histology slide depicts the appearance of a histology slide that has been Wright’s stained using an "automatic staining" device. Blue elements such as the nucleic acids and cytoplasm, being that they are acidic will take on the basic portion of the stain, or the methylene azure color, while the basic elements, i.e., RBC hemoglobin, will stain pink with eosin, which is acidic.
