Liver - histology slide
|
This is a histology slide of the liver. At high power within the lobule the hepatocytes are polyhedral with eosinophilic cytoplasm and a usually central nucleus. Between the cords of hepatocytes are endothelially lined sinusoids. Occasional flattened Kupffer cells may be seen.
