Pubic hair

This is a photomicrograph of pubic hair. Notice the medulla.

Pubic Hairs:
* Shaft diameter coarse with wide variations and buckling
* Medulla relatively broad and usually continuous when present
* Root frequently with tag
* Tip usually tapered, rounded, or abraded
* Stiff texture, wiry
